This has been a dream of mine for a very long time.
It wasn’t until 2009 that I finally decided to turn my passion into a reality. I started making jewelry and was fortunate enough to be able to create jewelry for celebrities, TV Shows and award shows. Such as; CMT, MTV Music Awards, and the Golden Globes. But, I felt like something was missing, I didn’t want to be just known as a celebrity jewelry maker. I wanted more, but at the time I didn’t know what that was. Until,I found my sketches of characters I had drawn, with comic stories, when I was in my 20's and 30's.I also drew sketches of clothing and jewelry.
So, I started making vision boards, and would buy magazines or print online items I liked. I would cut out the pictures I liked to help to inspire what I was looking for. Then I came across Kenny Kiernan's artwork and fell in love with his characters. I was able to purchase them for use online. I started making posters with quotes and I had so much fun. At that time I was slowly starting to see the vision I wanted to create.
So then I started cutting the characters out and pasted them on my sketch notebook and write stories describing them. The characters I am using now will not be my Princess Tribe Characters. I'm still in the process of creating these characters. I will have Kenny Kieman,a very talented artist, with 20 years of experience, create the final touches of these characters that where inspired by him. He also does, 2d, 3d, animations, etc… and created my Queen Warrior Audacious from the stretch I created. Very soon I will share the very talented writer who will be creating the story line for the characters. I am sincerely thankful I have the ability to express my creativity through my art and to live a life that gives my life meaning and fulfills my purpose. facebook.com/audaciouswarrior/
